The CA79 is an online TOC analyzer designed for process monitoring. It complies with the strict requirements of life science and pharmaceutical industries and delivers reliable, real-time monitoring of high-purity water systems, including WFI (water for injection), detecting even trace levels of organic contamination. CA79 requires only a sample flow rate of 14 mL/min and ensures consistent water quality and enables safe, efficient production processes. The robust analyzer offers a wide measuring range from 0.5 - 1000 µg/L (ppb) and features an integrated output relay for reliable collective alarm signaling. Serial number–specific IQ/OQ documentation ensures fast installation and on-site qualification.

CA79 applies the principle of differential conductivity detection. The analyzer can continuously read TOC sample levels with very fast response times of only 50 seconds (t 90 ). Therefore, the analyzer is ideally suited to monitor especially time critical process steps in production, distribution and storage of ultrapure water or WFI in pharma and life sciences industries.
Sample digestion is performed by a high-power UV reactor utilizing two oxidation wavelengths simultaneously for fast and complete organic carbon oxidation. High-energy UV radiation at 185 nm and 254 nm are used to oxidize even extremely stable organic compounds completely to CO 2 without any oxidizing agent.
