This system is designed to reliably analyze the growth, development, and interactions of plants and/or other biological agents containing fluorescent proteins or probes. Whether you are working with plates or smaller plants up to 20 cm on our benchtop FluorCam 1300-C/2020, or larger specimens up to 1 m high in our stand-alone FluorCam 1300-L/2020, our systems are tailored to meet the diverse demands of your research. Additionally, we offer models designed for imaging larger fields of view, up to 35 x 35 cm, available in a customized box to suit specific experimental requirements.

Closed Flat FluorCam 1300/2020 Our state-of-the-art system FluorCam 1300/2020 , optionally equipped with a Multi-Excitation Module, brings compact, advanced technology into your plant and photosynthesis research.

FluorCam 1300/2020 is engineered to capture detailed images and data from Pulse-Amplitude Modulated (PAM) chlorophyll fluorescence measurements, as well as to analyze the growth, development and interactions of plants containing fluorescent proteins or probes. The system provides valuable insights into the plant photosynthetic performance, physiological and metabolic conditions, interactions with pathogens or symbionts, and susceptibility to stress. Featuring a unique flat LED panel, the FluorCam 1300/2020 promises highly uniform illumination across a 20 × 20 cm area, ensuring accurate and reliable data with minimal shading effects. Whether you are working with smaller plants up to 20 cm on our benchtop FluorCam 1300-C/2020 , or larger specimens up to 1 m high in our stand-alone FluorCam 1300-L/2020 , our systems are designed to meet your research needs.

FluorCam 1300-C/3535 extends the capabilities of the FluorCam series by enabling imaging with a larger field of view, up to 35 × 35 cm, and accommodating specimens up to 80 cm in height. This makes it ideal for researchers working with larger plants or experimental setups requiring an expansive imaging area.

Versions Closed Flat FluorCam FC 1300-C/2020 The FC 1300-C/2020 is a compact benchtop fluorescence camera system designed for precision imaging of plants up to 20 cm high or flat samples, such as Petri dishes. This model offers a guaranteed 200 × 200 mm field of view and features a FluorCam 1300 shell (dimensions: 562 × 752 × 560 mm) with a swing-up opening door. It includes a high-resolution camera, a chlorophyll fluorescence emission filter, and a flat LED light panel that utilizes red-orange, white, and far-red LED-derived light sources. Equipped with a control PC, the FluorCam10 comprehensive software package, and a user’s guide, this system is ideal for detailed photosynthesis research.

Closed Flat FluorCam FC 1300-C/2020-6C with Multi-Excitation Module This enhanced benchtop model integrates conventional chlorophyll fluorescence measurements with the capability to analyze various fluorescence or reflectance signals. Featuring a FluorCam 1300 shell (dimensions: 562 × 752 × 560 mm) with a swing-up opening door and an adjustable shelf system, it includes an upgraded flat LED light panel offering a broad spectrum of LED-derived light sources (red-orange, white, far-red, UV, royal blue, blue, cyan, green, amber). The system is also equipped with a high-resolution camera with guaranteed 200 × 200 mm field of view, a motorized filter wheel, chlorophyll and GFP fluorescence filters, a control PC, the FluorCam10 software package, and a user’s guide. Customization options include up to five additional emission filters or the Multicolor Module for expanding research options. This version is specifically designed for research involving plants and biological agents that express fluorescent proteins or are labeled with dyes, offering extensive customization to meet diverse experimental needs. The extended FluorCam shell (dimensions: 560 × 1,755 × 560 mm) features easy access through a right-hand door and houses an extended measurement compartment, along with multiple LED light options (red-orange, white, far-red, UV, royal blue, blue, cyan, green, amber). The model includes a high-resolution camera with a guaranteed 200 × 200 mm field of view, a motorized, software-controlled filter wheel, chlorophyll and GFP fluorescence filters, a control PC, the FluorCam10 software package, and offers additional customization options with up to five emission filters or a Multicolor Module. This model is ideally suited for advanced studies involving genetically modified crops or the examination of pathogenic or symbiotic interactions in larger specimens.

Inverted Flat FluorCam FC 1300-I/2020 The FC 1300-I/2020 is a stand-alone inverted fluorescence imaging system housed in a black FluorCam shell (dimensions: 652 × 1455 × 665 mm, weight: approx. 100 kg) specifically designed for flat samples , including microtiter plates (MTPs), Petri dishes , and detached leaves . It is particularly well suited for high-throughput experiments using 96- and 384-well microplates , making it an effective tool for studies of algae, cyanobacteria, and other microorganisms or cultures grown in microplates. The system provides highly uniform bottom illumination , ensuring consistent excitation across the entire imaging area for reliable quantitative fluorescence measurements. It offers a guaranteed field of view of 120 × 120 mm and includes a dedicated holder for 12 × 12 cm Petri dishes and microplates , located within a dark adaptation compartment positioned above the optical system. The FC 1300-I/2020 is equipped with a high-resolution camera , a chlorophyll fluorescence emission filter , and a bottom LED illumination panel providing uniform excitation. Advanced Multi-Excitation Module Expands conventional chlorophyll fluorescence measurements with the ability to detect fluorescent proteins and dyes, including GFP, YFP, RFP, mCherry, and fluorescein. The module includes six additional LED excitation sources (UV, Royal Blue, Blue, Cyan, Green, and Amber) and a motorized 7-position filter wheel for flexible fluorescence imaging.

Blue Measuring Light Optional configuration replacing the standard orange-red measuring and actinic LEDs with royal blue (450 nm) LED sources, providing alternative excitation conditions for specialized fluorescence studies, such as research on green algae.
